Lessons are taught in St. Michael’s C of E Middle School swimming pool, Colehill,
Wimborne. There is parking available in the school car park and there is usually plenty
of parking on the road outside the school entrance on Colehill Lane.
The swimming pool is clean and modern and it offers complete access to all. You may bring push chairs/ baby car seats into the changing room area.
The indoor, 17m long pool, is heated to a warm 30 degrees. There are
male and female changing rooms, disabled changing rooms, and a viewing gallery for
spectators to sit and watch classes.
School Swimming Pool Rules
- We ask that your child wears a swim nappy, if they are not yet fully toilet trained.
- A baby wetsuit or thermal top is recommended if your child is likely to get cold in the water.
- Some milk for your baby or a healthy snack for your toddler/child is great to bring with you, for those hungry tummies after all their exercise! (For health and safety reasons, we cannot allow food on the poolside).
- A wipeable changing mat, is a good idea to bring with you, for you to change your baby on.
- Please either remove outdoor shoes or wear the plastic over-shoes, provided by St. Michael’s Middle School, before entering the changing rooms and poolside.
