KEY BENEFITS FOR TODDLERS
Water Safety & Survival Skills: Lessons introduce vital water safety skills, such as how to enter and exit the water safely, and how to hold on to the rail and move along the rail.
Physical Development & Coordination: Swimming improves coordination, balance, and motor skills.
Confidence & Independence: Regular lessons help children become less timid and more comfortable in new situations, building self-esteem and independence.
Socialisation: Children interact with peers and instructors, learning to follow instructions and engage in teamwork.
Cognitive Development: Regular swimming lessons help to improve language development and numerical skills.
Improved Sleep: The physical activity helps toddlers burn energy, often resulting in improved sleep.
KEY BENEFITS FOR ADULTS
Social Connection: Classes provide a social outlet for parents to connect with others.
Bonding & Attachment: Skin-to skin interaction in the water helps build a strong, secure emotional attachment between parent and child.
Increased Confidence: Parents learn how to hold, handle and support their child in the water, which builds confidence for leisure swimming outside the class environment.
